Sometimes it all goes so fast...but God brings us the beautiful NOW that can't compare to what we thought it would be in the past. What we were convinced would be ugly sometimes turns to gold in our trembling hands.
Thanking God for one's struggles takes guts and grace...and is incredibly difficult. If we can open up to that level then we can begin to forgive. Have you ever felt like you needed to forgive God? Maybe we really need to forgive ourselves for being so angry with what God has given us. Everything that is from God is good.
Everything. There is divine mercy in confession to another person: being heard and found
nothing but a fellow sinner, saved by Grace. Keeping everything inside isn't really keeping anything at all...it's letting go of the love you might instead share.
If you suddenly find yourself within arm's reach of your fears...embrace them. God gave you this moment, this day. You might walk away from that dreaded embrace a new person.
Genesis 50:20 As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many peopleshould be kept alive, as they are today.
Know this, dear one: all of your struggles and trials up to this point have all been part of it. They are part of God's plan to prosper and not harm you. Even though you might feel very defeated and like God is out to get you, it's all going to work out for the best. I promise. God promises. He's there for you right now...call out to Him because he does hear you.

I felt like you were rather talking to me.
What you talk about here is nothing short of much of what I have been feeling of late (though I have not been angry with God, I have been upset with myself and much of my behavior/mistakes).
So whether or not you were actually thinking of me while you wrote this...thank you, Amy. THANK you. I will be taking my feelings and fears and dreams to God and asking Him to handle them all.
*HUGS* Thank you!
You have a very good outlook on life. It's easy to get distracted.
When struggles come, I'm challenged by the apostle Paul's example in Philippians 1:12-18. He saw his difficulties as an opportunity to advance the kingdom of God.
sounds like you went to confession
Love this. Love your heart.
So very true and sometimes, I lose sight of that.
Thank you for sharing this.
thank you for writing this - it's wonderful and so true
Hmmmm. I needed to read this tonight. Thank you.
Jeremiah 29:11-12 - Also a verse you mentioned without quoting. :) But yeah. VERY good entry. Encouraging. I've been hearing this message often lately, it seems. Maybe God's trying to tell me something or prepare me for something. Hm. No clue! :) But yeah.
Thankful for the God I serve, not just in the good or bad times, but in each time,
