Houston Aquarium pics
I visited the Houston Aquarium with Chad this Saturday. It isn't as good as the Dallas, but it was fun :) They have a nice restaurant and we ate there.

They actually were quite cute, and would swim up and want to be touched.

You reminded me that I have never visited the Monterey Aquarium and it is supposed to be a good one. I have never touched a sting ray even though you can in Hawaii at some parks.

I've petted some manta rays at one time. They do love to be touched. Looks like you had a great day. You took some fantastic shots.

I work in education. Did you watch any of the animal shows or tiger enrichments?
@sea_monkey07 - Naw, we were kinda getting there in between times. I did see them feed the gators, but that's about it. I liked the tigers a lot. They are so beautiful!
@sea_monkey07 - If you were there on Saturday, did you see a really loud guy and his family with a "service dog"? It kept barking at people/animals, and I don't think it was a real service dog. No one in the family appeared to be blind or anything.

I didn't see it but I heard about it after it happened. It was a bulldog I think? those are not usually service dogs. Not sure how they got into the place with a dog...
@sea_monkey07 - YES! It was a bulldog!
When visiting my local zoo, I think I always enjoyed the aquarium the most. The animals seemed more otherworldly. It looked so serene to seen them just gliding about in the water. Land mammals were too commonplace.
It’s astonishing that mantas should so accommodate themselves to contact with humans; kinda like housecats with fins.
Thanks for sharing those. I haven't been to a zoo or aquarium in way too long!!!
