About Me

  • About Me: I try to be someone who serves and honors Christ with my day to day life. Every ounce of current and future hope I have is bound up in my faith in God. I am painfully aware of my many imperfections, but am very very glad that Christ loves me enough to cover all that stuff for me.

Thanksgiving with the Brits. Beautiful pecan... soup? Hot chocolate and Bailey... the cat, of course! Train rides. London in a nutshell. Groceries in the rain. Late nights at the pub. Church bells. Discussions. Laughing. Fun. Again sometime?

@NightCometh - Eventually, I want to get a blue gingham like Dorothy's and then of course white cotton for the blouse. I'll probably use the pattern with other materials, but first I want to make my Dorothy dress, I think my sister would want one too. She loves the Wizard of Oz.
  • NightCometh
@IXOYE_AD - Awesome...are you going to make the dress?
  • IXOYE_AD
@NightCometh - Oooo, sounds so pretty. I got a Dorothy dress pattern from the Wizard of Oz. I know it's a bit childish looking, but it's the Wizard of Oz!!!!! I HAD to get it!
  • NightCometh
@IXOYE_AD - I try to pick up vintage patterns whenever I can. I've made a 1930s Vogue pattern before and I have a 50s one here.
