“Question: Why do we have to put up with so much crap?
Answer:
We believe in someone who is offensive to our world. The cross is gory and awful, and innocent blood was shed on it. Paul said that preaching itself is foolishness to those who don’t believe. I am depressed about the world but secure in the cross.”

Humans don’t like to be told what to do, period. We throw tantrums even if something we are asked comes with no personal harm or sacrifice, we can be very selfish creatures. But good for Mom, she’s one smart cookie.
Great answers! Your site is beautiful, and I just rated it to be free to all ages. I guess I should look more into the site. I know I’m a lot more liberal than you are, and that’s okay. You can point me to previous posts, but I am wondering about your stance on Christians and birth control and Christians and yoga (you had a list of things that cause you or readers different levels of vitriol and those two stuck out as things I was curious about).
