Last Try; I keep falling asleep and kicking myself out, but I am going to be truthful about supplemental income, and it is that we are paying, at the lowest fifteen dollars per hour, but usually way more than that. Were I able bodied and wanted to raise my income a cinouple hundred dollar a week, I would have no problem helping someone as a domestic, for it is usually cash money which is what you probably need in so far as money; So that is the easiest. Next we have after school care, and of course, by September now stores are getting Holiday things in,so there is work in such areas, but do not accept any domestic work which does not recognize the talented woman you are. Artistically, I would enjoy making little baby take home baskets with the little gown and the little boney of pure cotton, a few real nappies, soft white blanket, so for about thirty dollars and some sewing skills, you can reach out to children of wealthy parents who would cherish their babh to home basket. I used to clean houses for extra money, but the hard part is finding people who will actually pay you (had several people try to stiff me). Whatever you do, do not do business with “friends”.
Paid companion to elderly ladies? Payment in advance, of course.
Find what you’re passionate about and monetize it. Be warned, however, that if you offer a service people will try to stiff you.
It wasn’t an issue with voice lessons because they were a recurring service and if they didn’t pay you didn’t keep teaching, but if you offer a one-off deal (piano tuning, animal grooming, etc.) there are many out there who won’t plan on hiring you again so they’ll see no harm in trying to defer payment, which you’ll never get in the end.
Just one of those things you have to prepare for. If you ever get back on yahoo I’ll see if I can help you figure something out and how to deal with the negative aspects of it.
I can authoritatively tell you that pizza delivery is not the short cut to prosperity.
