You might have seen Lena Dunham’s Obama campaign video called “Your First Time”, in which talks about voting as if it were having sex with Obama. Um…that’s pretty gross and creepy.

Who said conservatives can’t be funny? She’s a bit off the mark with regard to how Obama views women, but so are the gushy, creepy types.
It’s a spin-off from another moderately successful political ad in Russia, which likened voting for Putin for the first time to losing your virginity.
The idea is in the ballpark – i.e. getting young people out to vote, to be involved with politics and their future – but the methodology, for me, leaves a bit to be desired.
@RighteousBruin - I think the point is that for Obama to make an ad where voting is compared to having sex…to losing one’s virginity…is demeaning to women in the first place. The main things the original ad is talking about are “women issues”…like government paying for birth control and abortion and that kind of thing.
