I am now going into hunker down mode. I am contenting myself with online games, Paul Washer sermons, Scottish Highland Dancing, podcasts, and virtual interactions for a while. So, pretty much like normal. But don’t be upset please if I don’t respond like normal if you message me. I am severely in shock.
My life goals have pretty much been: 1.) Be smart, read good books, have intelligent conversations with like-minded people. 2.) Make pretty music, act in shows, dance, be creative 3.) Serve and honor the God who made me. 4.) Be married to a wonderful man who loves this stuff too, and me. Have kids with said man and educate them in said things.
Things aren’t lookin’ so hot for me right now. Everything is up in the air. Obama winning another term jeopardizes this more than I can say. Our economy is in severe trouble, and people just simply don’t care. This is a cultural problem. It’s serious.
This is a real test of faith (as if nothing else were). But it feels so much more dramatic right now. I love Jesus. I trust Him.

You might be interested in reading John Taylor Gatto’s “Underground History of American Education. ” It is available online. Says much the same as Upton Sinclair’s “The Goosestep,” only a hundred years later. I think it helps explain the state society is presently in. I posted a couple chapters in my blogs.

This is overly dramatic. Romney was really not that much different than Obama, especially in terms of his views on the role of government and economic philosophy.
America lost a great opportunity in not electing Mitt Romney. He is a good, good man that could’ve turned this country around. Americans don’t recognize greatness. They want celebrity.

@NightCometh - You’re right–I never said you should stop it or you should change your feelings. I was just providing commentary on what you wrote, which I would think is the point of the comments section.
@whataboutbahb - Telling me that my worries and feelings about my life are “overdramatic” is oh-so-helpful. Where did your profile picture go?
@NightCometh - I guess my comment was overly harsh. It’s just surprising to me to hear all the different “my life is going to be oh so different” posts on Xanga when I think the two candidates were not that different. Both embrace big government. The economy is hopefully going to slowly recover no matter who is in office (and it’s very unlikely that one administration over the other would have a drastic effect in either a positive or negative way). And though I’m hesitantly optimistic about the economy, there’s still an education bubble that is waiting to burst (or maybe it’s better to describe it as already burst, but most people just don’t know it yet)–and that predates both Obama and Romney. I wasn’t a fan of either, but life will go on. The U.S. is still the U.S. Maybe the biggest difference between Romney and Obama will be the Supreme Court nominations, which will certainly be different under Obama. And I can fully acknowledge that as probably very disheartening for someone who wanted to overturn Roe v. Wade and who loves Citizens United and wants to make sure it doesn’t get overturned. But in terms of the economy? I just don’t see a drastic outcome based on this election.
Picture has been gone for awhile. I took it down for job application stuff for law school. Even though that’s all done with I didn’t put it back up because I already have one foot out the door when it comes to Xanga. I guess I just can’t quit it.
Good luck with all of your plans, and continue on with them, or don’t worry about tomorrow because today has enough to worry about on its own. (recklessly paraphrased)
Today there were more earthquakes, like there were a few days before. People are “perplexed by the waves and tossing of the sea”, not just in New York and the east coast, but in other countries as well. There are bird and fish kills, (famines) wars and rumors of wars. Paul saw it in a dark glass and told us ahead of time. The earth is groaning with birth pains. So, the worst case scenario is that your plans will be interupted by the transformation, and 1000 years of peace in a different body. Think on those things. Hope that helped. I’m anything but positive, in truth I’m very cynical, but I have hope. If I didn’t, I would have given up long ago.
Hmmm… You are worried about Obama? A lot of people were worried about Romney as well. Hmmm…
I think your instinct to trust God is the right course.
Human wisdom about both Romney and Obama is so incomplete and flawed…

You haven’t heard from me for awhile; but I still pray for you when the Lord brings you into my mind. You’re a godly woman with godly desires which He has given you, and He will deliver them too. Your ideas about how wait upon Him made me laugh; but I’m just a fat ol’ guy who couldn’t manage them myself. And clearly — from this terrific photo of you — you’ve lost weight and that makes me jealous. Still, though, I am absolutely confident your faith will test out pure gold! Our God is in control of all things!

Obama may not be in God’s perceptive will, but obviously Obama must be a part of his decretive will. And as for me and God’s will we are called not to fret. God’s place on high hasn’t shifted and neither has our commission. To go and make disciples of all nations and now more then ever. That is what i was living for before the election and that is what we should still be living for!!

.so i contacted him and i explain every thing to him and he told me that my
problem will be solved within 2days if i believe i said OK .So he caste_ a
spell for me and after 2days my love came back to me begging me on his knees on
the ground asking me to forgive him. And I was surprise just like a dream and
today Am so happy now. so that why i decided to share my experience with every
