Physically, it’s been a crappy night.
I feel fine with emotions, but I’m lying in bed where I’ve been for quite some time.
I took it upon myself, after coming home from choreographing, to trim some branches that were overgrown in our front flower beds and landscaping. Then I saw more that needed a trim. Then more. Pretty soon, I’d cut down masses of branches and trimmed back boxwoods and yaupons and holly berries. And now my hands are shaking if I hold so much as a water glass. I know I’ll be okay, but I feel like an invalid. (Kind of a romantic thought…Secret Garden style!)
Today while choreographing, I turned my back to the show choir to mess with the cd player for a second. I hear a thud and then laughter from the kids and turn around and the tallest, lankiest redheaded boy is getting up off the floor, laughing. I notice he’s holding his wrist. He plays the tough guy, but I’m pretty sure he broke it from screwing around and doing high kicks. Then I see he’s wearing socks instead of shoes…on a linoleum floor. Sigh. I hope he’s okay. I sent him to the nurse.
That was my excitement for today. I’m gonna have to wake up tomorrow and figure out some choreography. I haven’t felt like moving around tonight!
