  • Today I did the Dr. Who/elliptical thing again.  I’m on Season 4 of Dr. Who, and that might confuse British people because they call it “series” instead of “season”.  Silly them.

Anyway…it’s  really good length of time to stay on the elliptical and watch one episode. I get my Dr. fix and get to burn about 350-450 calories at the same time.  That’s pretty golden, if you ask me.
I have a sleeping Zorro cat next to me.  He’s my constant companion, of late.

  • I never really got in to the earlier Doctor Who’s before Matt Smith in Season/Series 5 onwards. He rocks! Cant wait for series 7 to start and finish, hate mid-season breaks. Have fun whatever your doing. Cheers

  • I like your layout

  • Good for you! Just remember not to overdo the elliptical, it can cause hip problems because thats not a normal body motion for you.

  • That’s a fantastic plan! Nice way to keep track of time as well.

Ran for 2.3 miles yesterday – it’s good to get back into exercising!

  • Hi, just passing through (I’m a long-time “Who” fan and your entry came up in my search!)

Actually these days we tend to refer to the “New Who” as being in seasons, but Doctors 1 to 7 as being in series. (With the 8th as being in the TVMovie.)

I thought the last Christmas episode was one of the best so far (I wasn’t a huge fan of the 2011 Christmas special.)

Anyway, sorry to intrude. As you were. ;)

  • I probably need some sort of workout machine right in front of my computer.

  • @TheTheologiansCafe - I’ve read articles about W.O.W. players who would set up a laptop on a treadmill and go VERY slowly, and by doing that lost a bunch of weight since they played for hours.

  • I need one at work then since I am on the computer all day.

  • Long life and prosperity to Zorro. I would contend that cats are as conducive to mental / emotional stability as physical activity is necessary to bodily health.
