  • A pretty good day in the neighborhood

    Who wouldn't want an exciting weekend filled with sitting beside my beautiful momma, turning her pages while she plays piano for kids at NATS?  Seriously...while it might not be my choice of ways to spend the weekend, it's great to have such a great mom.  I wuv her.  

    I taught most of these high school kids either at the middle school level for voice lessons, or have choreographed them in show choir.  It's amazing to see youth come to blossom; to see these children grow and form into young adults.  Think of how Our Father feels watching us when we respond to His shaping.  Lovely thought.
    So it's almost 1 am, and I have to drive to Denton again at 7:30.  Woohoo!  
    Here I come, sleep.

I hate it that you're not around, and the fact that you didn't call. But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you. Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.
